Aspen Institute • Last week, Aspen Institute announced 21 senior healthcare leaders selected to join Aspen Institute Health Innovators Fellowship's fifth class. Jason Grinstead, CEO of Metasense Analytics, was one of the selected healthcare leaders to join the fellowship and their nationwide network of healthcare entrepreneurs and innovators. Metasense Analytics is a data pipeline and analytics software that enables companies to unlock the value in their healthcare data.

LG Electronics Leads Funding Round for Washlava
St. Pete Catalyst • LG Electronics will be the lead investors in a Series A equity financing for Tampa's Washlava. Washlava allows customers to reserve and pay for laundry machines from their smartphones. CEO Todd Belveal mentions the partnership will allow Washlava to leverage LG’s capabilities and reputation in the industry to amplify Washlava’s proprietary Internet of Things technology.
