Tampa Software Developer Grows by Modernizing Public Safety
St. Pete Catalyst • SOMA Global, a technology platform that provides public safety as a service to first responders and law enforcement, has a new office in downtown Tampa. To date, the company has worked with four large enforcement agencies and plans to sign another 30 by the end of the first quarter of 2020.


On-Demand Home Repair App Homee Raises $15M in Funding
Tampa Bay Inno • Homee, a Tampa-based technology company that provides on-demand home repair services, has raised a $15M Series B round led by Liberty Mutual Strategic Partners. They plan to grow throughout the US with the new funding.


Tech Company Pipedrive Opens Second Office in St. Petersburg
St. Pete EDC • Pipedrive, the first customer relationship management platform built from the salesperson's point of view, announced the official opening of their second office in downtown St. Petersburg earlier this week. The St. Pete office is the second US office for Pipedrive. The first is in New York City and they have six other offices internationally. The recent expansion will create 10-12 jobs with significant growth anticipated for 2020.
