Lunchpool Launches Corporate Partnership with KnowBe4 St. Pete Catalyst • Lunchpool, a Tampa Bay-based startup focused on bringing people together for lunch, has partnered with KnowBe4, a cybersecurity training company headquartered in Tampa Bay, to have its employees serve as pilot participants on the Lunchpool platform. Lunchpool is currently building a program to work with more corporations to offer this service as a perk to their employees.
Venture Atlanta Unveils Its List of Presenting and Showcase Companies Venture Atlanta • Venture Atlanta, the premier venture capital conference in the Southeast, announced its 2019 lineup of the region's most promising tech companies that will present and showcase during this year's event taking place October 16-17. 78 companies, including Tampa-based startups Phonism and World Watch Plus, Gainesville-based startup Admiral, and St.Pete-based startup Intrinio, will present onstage or showcase to conference attendees and investors.
Tampa Bay Innovation Center Launches Accelerator St. Pete Catalyst • The Tampa Bay Innovation Center, a business incubator and coworking center, announced the launch of its Tampa Bay Entrepreneurship and Investment Challenge earlier this week, a 12-week program focused on preparing technology ventures to scale their companies. The program includes mentorship by serial entrepreneurs who've made successful exits. The accelerator is open to participants nationwide free of charge, with no equity required.
